ok well my friend also needed a suit, and she’s very fashionable, so i think these stores that she went to will help:
Banana Republic is a very good place, BUT try going to one of their outlets, she says that the suits are just as nice, just much cheaper. soo look for an outlet, if you don’t have one, still go to Banana Republic and look through the sales racks.
another place would be New York Company, also look through their sales racks.

Try TJ Maxx, ross stores, Loahmanns,
or Nordstorm rack they are all name brands low prices
also try Banana Republic catolog

I don’t know exactly what you’re looking for. Like the worthiness of the suit, but she can find one just about anywhere - JC Penney, TJ Maxx, Marshall’s, KG, Burlington Coat Factory, and so on.
I know that KG is primarily for men, but they’ve been adding on things for women. They were advertising via tv awhile ago. Maybe last autumn. (I live in TX too, so maybe you saw an ad but didn’t realize it…)

EDIT: reading some other answers, I realized there is a bunch of outlet stores at the Grapevine Mall. Also, just finding outlet stores in general might help, hm?
